The District operates two 24-hour Recycling Drop-off Centers located in Lizton
(map it) and Coatesville (map it).

Acceptable Items:
PAPER: Office paper, construction paper, newspaper, junk mail, magazines,
catalogs, corrugated cardboard, telephone books, food boxes.

GLASS: Clear, brown and green glass that held food or beverages.

STEEL: Any food container--it is okay to leave the labels on...

ALUMINUM: Beverage containers only.

PLASTICS: Only containers showing a #1 (PETE) or a #2 (HDPE) can be
recycled.

Important Reminders:
*Staples, paper clips, and rubber bands should be removed from all paper.
*Cardboard should be broken down to conserve space in the bins.
*All food containers should be rinsed and lids removed.
*All recyclables should be loose in the recycling bins--no bagged materials.
*Plasic shopping bags cannot be recycled at the centers even though they show
a #2 (HDPE). They can be recycled at Wal-Mart and some grocery stores.
