| Tox-Away Days are an opportunity for residents to bring their Household Hazardous Wastes (HHW), sharps, tires, appliances, and electronics for recycling or disposal. The events are open to residents of Hendricks County. Businesses are prohibited from using the events. HHW & sharps are collected free-of charge. Some recycling & disposal fees apply for electronics, appliances & tires. A list of common HHW items and fee guidelines can be found by clicking here. EACH EVENT WILL BE OPEN FROM 8AM TO 1PM |
| Thermometer Exchange! As an incentive for residents to rid their homes of mercury thermometers, the District will again be offering free digital thermometers in exchange for mercury thermometers brought to the events. This offer will be limited to one digital thermometer per household, while supplies last. |
